Report on Student Innovation & Achievement
At S.E.A. Composite PU College, we are committed to nurturing scientific curiosity and problem-solving skills among students. We are proud to share the outstanding achievement of one of our students in the INSPIRE-MANAK Programme, a national initiative that empowers young minds to transform ideas into impactful innovations.
INSPIRE-MANAK stands for Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge.
It is a flagship initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, implemented in collaboration with the National Innovation Foundation (NIF).
The programme aims to:
- Encourage students to identify real-life problems and develop science & technology-based solutions
- Provide financial support to selected students for prototype development
- Offer platforms to showcase innovations at District, State, and National levels
- Foster scientific thinking, creativity, and an innovation-driven mindset among school and PU students
S.E.A. PU Student Brings Pride to the College
We are delighted to announce that Ms. M.K. Ashwathi, a student of S.E.A. Composite PU College, was selected for the INSPIRE-MANAK programme last year.
Ashwathi presented an innovative and socially relevant idea: an Affordable and Portable Solar-Powered Nebulizer.
Her design focuses on providing an accessible, low-cost, and eco-friendly healthcare solution, especially beneficial for patients in areas with limited electricity and resources.
Recognizing the potential and social impact of her innovation, the INSPIRE-MANAK committee awarded Ashwathi a cash prize to support the further development and implementation of her prototype.
Ashwathi’s achievement is a testament to how young innovators can contribute meaningful solutions to societal challenges through creativity, research, and scientific temperament.
Her success also reflects the college’s continuous efforts to encourage students to think beyond textbooks and engage with real-world problems.
The entire Management, Principal Ms. Sneha B R Gowda, faculty, and students congratulate Ashwathi on this remarkable accomplishment. We wish her success as she continues to work on her prototype and inspire more students to innovate for a better tomorrow.
